High-Speed Course, Oslo

High-Speed Course, Oslo

The requirement for high speed certificate will be in force from June 1st 2023. The certificate is required for drivers of recreational crafts able to reach a speed above 50 knots, independent of other certificates and age.

Upcoming courses in Oslo are June 16th – 22nd.
Description

The course consists of a mandatory theoretical course which has to be finished before doing the practical part. The theoretical course can be done remote over internet, or by physical attendance at NMKS premises in Oslo. The theoretical course takes 4,5 hours and is held live and online every Wednesday at 16:00-21:15 (maximum 20 participants, and reservations that enough attendees are enrolled). The practical part takes between 1,5 and 3 hours depending on the number of participants.

In many cases there will be a practical part for jet skis the same day and with the same instructor. If you want to attend both, please let us know and we will get in touch to clarify if this is possible.

We can also arrange a private course for a group of 1-10 people, either out of our head quarter at Torp in Fredrikstad, or a preferred location by you (as long as we get approval for high speed driving in the area). For this option, we may also offer extra training in driving a high speed boat. A private course can be both theory and practice the same day, or if preferred, the theory can be done online or at NMKS premises upfront. We will also ensure a nice meal during the day. Please get in touch if you want to book a private high speed course day with us in Cormate.

If too few participants are registered for a specific time and date, we reserve the right to change your booking. We will get in touch well in advance of the course if this is the case.
