In the beginning of march 2023 we premiered our brand new showroom to the public. The grand opening was a success, and hundreds of boat enthusiasts visited us through the opening weekend. Here they had the perfect opportunity to study all of our models and talk to our founder and lead designer Egil Ranvig and our CTO Stian Ranvig about the history and the construction of Cormate boats.

In this great hall You can discover the features and design of all models, ranging from the Utility 23 all the way up to the brand new Chase 35 in a beautiful indoor environment. We also have samples of fabric and gelcoat colors for clients to choose from when considering buying a new boat. Here at Cormate we fully understand the need to see, feel and experience the boats in a way that’s hard to do out on the sea, sometimes under rough weather conditions. And in the showroom You can also see all models in several different colors, giving You the best opportunity to find Your own favorite.

Seeing all the models lined up along eachother also gives You the perfect opportunity so see why Egil Ranvig’s 3-step process to create new boats makes such good sense for the users. All Cormate boats are developed according to the Design, Performance and Functionality plan Egil and Stian has implemented for Cormate over the last 20 years. These 3 elements are all nice on their own, but Our Cormate boats must have all 3 to be a successful and a «real» Cormate design.

Seeing the boats together also gives You the history behind the development of the models and You can easily see how the different features, design and key elements are all brought together in unique ways on every boat.

It’s also important for us to emphasize that 2023 is goring to be an exciting year for Cormate. During this summer we will add 3 brand new models to our range. With a wider range, we can meet our customers needs easier. We also have plans for bigger boats in the future, so stay tuned.

We were also visited by the local press and several boat magazines. In that occasion we opened up our service senter for them to take a closer look at our impressive 5000m2 facility were we store our costumers boat during the winter.

Cormate offer all our customers who has their boat in our care during winter, a full service deal. This includes motorservice, wash, polish, anti-fouling. Read more
