The Cormate Chase 32 has its world launch during this year’s “Båter i Sjøen”! It is a further development of the Chase 34, which has won 2nd place in the prestigious “Concours d’Elégance” during the boat fair in Cannes.
The Chase 32 is optimized for single engine installation by, among other things, changing the weight distribution and bottom construction.
Later this year, the big brother Chase 35 will be introduced, this has also received a completely newly developed Mk2 hull and has been extended by a foot. The new construction provides higher efficiency and better stability. The change now also gives the possibility to use Twin 565 hp High performance engines from Mercury Racing. These are two sporty models that combine efficient maneuverability in all kinds of sea, with elegance and high performance. With a v-bottom of 24.5 degrees and a length/width ratio of approx. 4, this gives extremely good sea characteristics and shows that Cormate’s racing genes have not been forgotten.
Good predictable sea characteristics and the ability to maintain high speed even in rough seas have had the highest priority during the design process. Nevertheless, the Chase 32 and 35 are also very versatile and user-friendly with their open walkaround solution, and a living comfort in the day cruiser class.
